Many people continue to ask me about my trip on the
USS George Washington. I thought I would share a link to the article that was published in the Central Penn Business Journal. They did a nice job summarizing my March 1st and 2nd trip. It was truly an amazing experience to have a “catch” landing on an aircraft carrier and a “catapult” takeoff. But probably the most amazing thing is the leadership and execution on the ship. Every sailor worked in complete harmony and with total commitment to the mission. The entire time on the ship, I just kept thinking about how engaged these young men and women are. It was a special time.
Scott... what an exciting opportunity. I can not imagine the thrill of landing on a carrier.
We in this country are so fortunate to have people willing to risk everything in the service of others. Our Navy is truly the finest in the world and we owe a lot to all our enlisted men and women who keep us safe.
Thanks for sharing your story!
