I just accepted another speaking engagement. I get to share my thoughts on employee engagement with the Appalachian Health Care Human Resources Society later this year. I am excited (of course I am always excited) about sharing. If I can just change one person's mind about old school management (and treatment of employees as fixed assets) to this new school approach of treating employees like partners (as we do at McKonly & Asbury) in the mission of the organization, I will have succeeded.
